Neat room, all in all had fairly nice stay.
Everything was beautiful, amicable staff, incredible views of the mountains and greenery from our beds and from our private onesen. The breakfast had good choice of selection, the food was great. The hotel was in a remote location far away from the city centre. And we were next to the mountain, the town center, and a canteen style cafeteria.

Really enjoyed my wonderful stay in the 2nd night of our stay. The rooms at this small hotel where well-maintained and large with mountain view. I had central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave oven in it.

Our stay at Ryokan Yufusan was a delight. The private onsen in our room offered a breathtaking view, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. The English-speaking staff were friendly and attentive. The location, nestled between Beppu and Yufuin, provided ample opportunities for exploration. highly recommended.

Good choice of DELICIOUS food for meals. New building and rooms with the window beside the bed looking through to the onsen. Location just off the city centre, an exceeding sightseeing of all the mountains, and all the mountains.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, from the beautiful mountain views to the delicious meals provided. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even providing a shuttle bus service to and from the hotel. The private hot spring bath in my room was the highlight, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.
All was perfect.

What a fantastic place to spend Thanksgiving! the complementary meals were out of this world, with an amazing mix of flavors and fresh ingredients. the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was so relaxing. We also enjoyed the complementary car service to explore the nearby area, which was incredibly convenient.
That the location was a bit out of the way, so we had to walk quite a bit to get to nearby restaurants. However, the staff was always willing to arrange a ride for us if needed.

During my Christmas stay in this hotel, I was impressed by the already-filled bath in my room upon arrival. It saved me time and made me feel even more relaxed. The private outdoor bath was also a highlight - spacious, and with a great view of the surrounding landscape. The hotel's location outside the town gives a sense of peace and quiet, making it ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
While the walk to the nearest restaurant was longer than expected, the option of easy-to-find and cheap taxis made it bearable. However, the beds and pillows were uncomfortably stiff, and the toilet room could benefit from additional lighting.

The well-appointed rooms come with a private hot spring bath, and the balcony offers panoramic vistas of the picturesque landscape. Friendly staff provide top-notch service, and the added facility of a free drink bar is a bonus. Relish the delicious Kaiseki Sukiyaki and savor the grilled fish breakfast. Guests can also enjoy free shuttle service and an onsen experience that is sure to leave you rejuvenated.
